About Arush Katal
I am a Ph.D. scholar in Structural Engineering with a focus on structural dynamics and earthquake engineering.My research interests include seismic response of structures, nonlinear analysis, and performance evaluation under dynamic loading. I am developing my understanding of Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) and the behavior of structures with vibration control systems such as Tuned Mass Dampers (TMD) and Tuned Mass Damper Inerters (TMDI).I work with Python and OpenSees/OpenSeesPy for structural modeling and analysis, and I am building computational workflows for seismic studies.I am interested in applying research-based approaches to real-world structural problems and am open to research collaborations, internships, and opportunities in structural and earthquake engineering.
