About Arushi Sanbui

I’m a Biomedical Engineering student with a biochemistry/biopharmaceutical focus, motivated by translating scientific insight into real, usable medical solutions.My academic and professional interests center on translational biotechnology and biomedical systems, including vaccines and immunotherapies, cancer treatment, genetics-driven approaches, drug delivery platforms, and tissue and organ engineering. I’m especially drawn to work at the intersection of science, engineering, and medicine - where ideas are tested, refined, and scaled to make a meaningful impact.I thrive in team-based, goal-driven environments and am energized by iterative work: designing systems, evaluating results, and improving performance based on real data. I’m drawn to roles that bridge discovery and application and allow me to stay close to outcomes while working at scale.Long term, I hope to contribute to impactful therapeutics development in industry or translational research settings, staying close to patient outcomes while working at scale.

   Supported students from underrepresented communities through weekly one-on-one virtual tutoring with STEMcx, primarily focusing on foundational math instruction for elementary students while also providing individualized SAT math support to a high school student. Adapted instruction to each learner’s needs by emphasizing problem-solving approach, pacing, and confidence-building, contributing to equitable access to high-quality STEM education.
