About Arushi Garg

I am- an incoming Media Analyst at Transmit. I am so excited to learn more about ad operations and contribute to the future of new monetization opportunities for live TV- a former Digital Paid Media Marketing Associate at RVO Health! A huge part of my day to day involved creating, managing, and optimizing paid ads on platforms such as Facebook, Google, and Reddit. I worked cross-functionally with teams such as lifecycle, social, creative/copy, product management and marketing, data engineering, and more to bring our campaigns to highly engaged and relevant audiences. I also briefly worked for Renuity as a Senior Paid Social Specialist, allowing me to specialize in Meta ads optimization- a 2023 graduate that majored in marketing and minored in psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. I spent the summer of 2022 as a marketing intern at Walmart Corporate, working on the CRM and Lifecycle Marketing team. There, I had the opportunity to not only learn about email marketing campaigns and lifecycle journey optimization, but to apply my learnings to my own project in customer segmentation. I loved the opportunity to work with external partners to analyze data and apply it practically to inform business decisions. I am also a former digital marketing intern at AdLucent and learned about SEM and paid media during my time there. I was able to leverage my learnings of Google Ads and campaign optimization to deliver high performing ads to our clients\' audiences. I also work seasonally as a data entry specialist at Ground Game Texas, a nonprofit that has successfully worked to get initiatives such as the decriminalization of marijuana and banning the use of no-knock warrants on local city ballots such as Austin, as well as getting more people registered to vote. We have also been instrumental in increasing the minimum wage to $15/hr in Alton and Edinburgh, and continuing to fight to decriminalize marijuana in many other cities across Texas. In my time there I have confirmed thousands of signatures that help causes voters care about be heard, as well as help in the fight to make voting slightly more accessible. I am hugely interested in consumer psychology and its practical applications to marketing, as well as UX design and creative development/copywriting. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting my own clothes, working out, reading, and binge-watching Netflix shows!
