ABOUT ARUN ULAHANNAN
I am an Assistant Professor at Coventry University, where I lead a range of user research and UX projects on transport accessibility, future transport, and gender inclusivity. I have over 8 years of experience in human factors and user experience research, applying my skills and knowledge to various domains such as digital health, smart homes, and autonomous and electric vehicles.My mission is to explore and understand the needs, preferences, and challenges of different user groups and to design and evaluate innovative solutions that enhance their mobility, safety, and well-being. I am passionate about creating and sharing knowledge that can inform and inspire policy, practice, and education in the transport sector and beyond. That is why I also co-host the How to PhD podcast, a show that helps PhD candidates with the practical and essential skills they need for their academic journey.
