I work at the intersection of health systems, public policy, and governance—designing and strengthening large-scale public health programmes within government systems.Currently, as a Chief Minister’s Fellow with the Government of Tamil Nadu (NHM), I contribute to state-level health planning, programme design, and performance analytics. My work spans the development of NHM PIP 2026 proposals, contributions to the State Health Policy, and drafting Tamil Nadu’s first Human Resources for Health (HRH) Strategy.I have been closely involved in policy formulation and system design through multiple state-level committees, including the Urban Health Revamping Committee and the Integrated Clinical Design Framework. My role involves synthesising evidence, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and translating complex data into actionable insights for senior decision-makers.Alongside policy work, I have led and supported health innovation initiatives such as:• Malarum Punnagai – a school-based orthodontic programme (design, SOPs, stakeholder facilitation)• HaemoHub – an anaemia screening system• Behavioural nutrition pilots including iron-fortified supplementation models• State-wide capacity-building initiatives (TCC/NRT training programmes)My analytical work includes developing dashboards and evidence briefs used by senior administrators, and contributing to the Health Sector Analytical Report to inform policy and programme decisions.My background combines engineering, social work, and public policy, with field exposure across community health systems (CMC Vellore), grassroots governance, and national-level research on child rights and climate education.I am particularly interested in strengthening health systems through data-driven governance, human resource planning, and scalable programme design.
