Quality Planning & InspectionDevelop and implement quality plans and inspection test plans (ITPs) for mechanical components of 3.3MW wind turbines.Conduct incoming material inspections for tower sections, blades, nacelle, hub, and other mechanical parts.Perform in-process and final inspections during installation and commissioning.Ensure torque and tensioning compliance for bolts, fasteners, and critical joints.Validate the alignment and assembly of the hub, main shaft, gearbox (if applicable), and yaw system.2. Supplier & Component Quality ControlInspect supplier-provided components such as yaw drives, bearings, and hydraulic systems.Work with vendors to address non-conformities (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for mechanical failures and defects.3. Site Quality AssuranceMonitor the erection and commissioning process to ensure compliance with Envision’s standards and ISO 9001 requirements.Verify proper handling and storage of mechanical components on-site.Ensure compliance with welding, painting, and coating specifications for structural integrity.4. Non-Conformance Management & RCAIdentify non-conformances (NCRs) and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Collaborate with engineering teams for failure analysis and design improvements.Document and report mechanical defects and deviations to the Quality Management System (QMS).5. Documentation & ReportingMaintain inspection records, quality checklists, and test reports.Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly quality reports to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with client specifications, technical standards (IEC, DNV-GL, ISO 9001, etc.), and Envision’s internal quality guidelines.6. HSE & ComplianceEnsure adherence to safety protocols during mechanical inspections.Conduct risk assessments related to mechanical quality issues.Support HSE teams in Lifting Plans, Blade Handling Procedures, and Work at Height Safety.
