About Arunava Chakraborty
As an agri professional I have more than 2 decades of experience of working with farmers and allied stakeholders in Asia and helping them to maximize productivity though sustainable use of fertilizers, crop protection chemicals, seeds and biotech traits. At CDSG, as Chief Operating Officer -Agribusiness, I am responsible for driving commercial strategies, management of sales & marketing function, leading 360° business development efforts in terms of reinstating leadership position in fertilizer, plant protection, seeds & contract farming business in Myanmar. Also, I am accountable for Agribusiness P&L and management of overall business financials, drive projects aligned to the strategic growth of the company and forging of new partnership and alliances. My deliverable includes procurement, warehouse, supply chain management and other operational areas relevant to the business.During my stint with Bayer & Monsanto, I have extensively worked in the domain of market development, management of sales & marketing under B2B & B2C models, successful launch of several new products, including biotech traits. I have also the experience of of leading corporate engagement and government affairs initiatives at the federal level.
