ABOUT ARUNACHALAM A M

As a Placement Coordinator at National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) since June 2023, I am responsible for facilitating the campus recruitment process and liaising with various companies and organizations. I also completed a three-month internship at DHI, a leading water consultancy firm, where I gained valuable experience in using software tools such as QGIS, Google Earth Pro, and MIKE+ to analyze and model water systems and structures. Prior to that, I served as an Internship Coordinator at NITK for 10 months, where I helped students secure internship opportunities and managed the internship database. I am currently pursuing a Master of Technology in Water Resources Engineering at NITK, after obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem in 2018. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills in water resources engineering to address the challenges and opportunities in the water and civil engineering sector. I have strong competencies in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and project management. My goal is to contribute to the advancement and innovation of water resources engineering and to make a positive impact on society and the environment.
