With PhD in Biophysics, Molecular Biology & Genetics, worked in Research and Development to conduct analysis within academic institutions and clinical departments in a hospital environment. I have over 15 years of experience in conducting research and maintaining records of experiments and analysis for Clinical and translational research and over 2 years in teaching Molecular Biology and Medical Microbiology to graduate and post graduate students. My experience lies in the field of molecular and cell biology techniques like Cloning, protein expression and purification, Proteomics, PCR, SDS PAGE, Native PAGE, western blotting, and immunofluorescence. I have developed strong track record in field of research technicalities within Molecular Biology and Genetics to gather, organise, and synthesise data to support decision-makers by conducting detailed research on the topic. I also have experience in protein-protein interaction study by Pull-down assays and Co-immunoprecipitation also using several biophysical techniques like Absorption and Fluorescence spectroscopy. Throughout my work experience I have gained excellent knowledge and understanding of Mass spectrometry based proteomics techniques like 2D gel electrophoresis, 2D-DIGE, LC/MS, MALDI-TOF and ESIQTOF Mass Spectrometric analyses. Basically my experience lies in handling and processing clinical samples (Blood, Bone marrow, Plasma, CSF) for biobanking; DNA, RNA and protein extraction and downstream applications according to company\'s guidelines, protocols, and safety procedures while maintaining a sanitary and safe workplace. I have strong end-to-end knowledge of Mice handling, dissection, genotyping, cortical synaptosome preparation and quality control from mouse brain and also in mammalian cell culture (Neuronal cells, Leukaemia cells, Stromal Cells), cellular assays and ELISA. I am well-versed with teaching and assessing students in Molecular Biology and Medical Microbiology subjects. I have expertise in ABSciex Q-TOF-6600 instrumentation, quality control, troubleshooting, DDA and DIA-SWATH experimental setup, data acquisition and data analyses.
