About Aruna Prasad
A qualified Nutritionist & a Gold Medalist in Master of Science (Food Science and Nutrition, University of Mysore), I come with 10 years of experience of changing the way people eat. My spectrum of clientele includes Actors, Sportsmen, Child Athletes, CEOs of MNCs, Political Leaders, IT Professionals, Children with Eating Disorder to list a few. Being a fitness enthusiast myself, I have done multiple live shows on radio (Rainbow 101.3 FM-Bangalore) & International & National TV Channels (including TIMES NOW, Wio news) on nutrition & fitness. My interests lie in sports nutrition, pediatric nutrition, nutrigenomics, pre & post bariatric surgery, weight management and clinical dietetics. I currently freelance along with consulting health and wellness start ups as Nutrition strategist & advisor. I am a visiting Sports Nutritionist to various academies in Bangalore, Kolkata, Mysore & Kerala. I conduct nutrition certification courses & training for fitness professionals in association with IFAA India along with writing nutrition columns for various online & offline magazines. I am also working as a Strategic Advisor & Mentor for an e commerce start up in Bengaluru, India.
