As Product Manager, I manage the product lifecycle, from inception to launch to End of Life. I am responsible for communicating the value proposition, and use cases that the product addresses. Performing win-loss analysis and coming up with action items to improve the product. Presenting the product business metrics to the executive team. Also in charge of enabling sales, be it training, answering field queries, or any which way. At Digital Harbor, I was in charge of conducting market research & competitive analysis, defining the value proposition and product positioning, and creating product roadmaps for a new product of Digital Harbor. I was also responsible for communicating the product vision and strategy to the engineering and marketing team, translating the business needs to product features, prioritizing the features, and backlog management. In the past, I was a Product Owner at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the 3PAR storage management console, SSMC. As one of the product owners of SSMC, I was looking into the Performance and Reporting of the 3PAR storage array. I interacted with product managers and understood the business requirements, translating them into product benefits, and eliminating customer pains. I was responsible for - feature prioritization, backlog grooming, wireframes, walking through the stories to the team, and acceptance of stories at the end of the sprint. I was also responsible for training the marketing and pre-sales team, contributing to product explainer video content and whitepapers.
