Shift In-Charge – Carbon Black Production | Epsilon Carbon Pvt. Ltd.Lead and supervise shift operations in the Carbon Black plant, ensuring safe and efficient production of soft and hard grades of carbon black.Oversee raw material oil preparation and maintain feedstock quality for uninterrupted reactor performance.Manage and control reactor operations along with supporting units including Air Preheater (APH), Oil Preheater (OPH), Primary Bag Collector (PBC), Pelletizer, and Dryer.Execute online grade changeovers with minimal downtime, ensuring flexibility to meet diverse customer requirements.Responsible for plant startup, shutdown, and emergency shutdown operations, following safety and operational protocols.Conduct Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) and actively participate in HAZOP studies, ensuring risk identification and mitigation.Monitor and regulate critical process parameters to maintain consistent product quality and production reliability.Supervise silo management for storage, handling, and dispatch of finished carbon black.Coordinate with maintenance, utilities, and quality teams for smooth operations and quick resolution of breakdowns.Operate and troubleshoot DCS systems including Yokogawa Centum VP, Emerson DeltaV, and Forbes Marshall, ensuring effective process monitoring, automation, and control.Utilize SAP (PP module) for production planning, material management, and shift reporting, improving operational efficiency.Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, safety rules, and environmental standards, promoting a zero-incident workplace.Guide and manage shift manpower, ensuring proper deployment, skill utilization, and safety discipline.Consistently achieve daily production and quality targets, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational excellence.
