ABOUT ARUN MAJUMDAR

I am currently pursuing a Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems, Automation, and Deep Learning based computer vision. Prior to perusing higher education, I was a Mechanical Engineering EIT with more than 4 cumulative years of diverse R&D and industry work experience from academia, start-up/scale-up, OEM, and corporate environments. I have practical hands-on experience in a variety of fields, which include 3D CAD product design, DFMA, FEA analysis, CFD simulations, novel ballistics materials manufacturing, material failure analysis, assistive devices design, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine learning, computer vision, automation, robotics, instrumentation, multi-sensor data fusion, power generation, electrical hardware and industrial controls. I am a highly curious, intuitive, and creative engineer with a positive can-do attitude. I place a strong focus on high-quality solutions rooted in a strong understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering principals. Beyond the technical engineering, I also enjoy interfacing with clients and stake holders in defining project requirements, scope, product functionality, client needs/wants, negotiations, and profitability. My strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and welcoming personality makes me approachable. You can always expect me to be excited to learn new skills, apply theories and concepts, build relationships and solve problems. I am looking to be a part of a fun collaborative team and a mentor to hone my skills under.
