I am an Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) officer of batch, presently working as Director in USOF, DoT. I hold degrees of B.Tech.(Electronics and Communications) and M. Tech.(Microelectronics) from IIT BHU and Post Graduate Programme (PGP-PPM) in Public Policy & Management from MDI, Gurgaon. I have worked in different profiles in MTNL and BSNL in the areas of telecommunications network planning, installation, operation and maintenance (O&M). I have also worked at DOT HQ in telecommunications licensing, enforcement of telecom license conditions and investigation of illegal telecom setup. I have also served on deputation in Ministry of Culture under Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) where i looked after the work of International Cultural Relations, vigilance, IT, finance management, Budget management, Administration of autonomous bodies. I am presently handling comprehensive telecommunications development plan of NER States, RailTel project for District to Block connectivity, BharatNet Utilisation, Last Mile Connectivity (LMC), Special Assistance Scheme for States, Mobile services in uncovered villages and along NH of Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, Sikkim and Arunachal, Meghalaya Project, Arunachal Pradesh & 2 Distt of Assam Project, etc.
