Managed all phases of the design process for multitude of products, components, parts, assemblies, and subassemblies, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerance, prototype, and documenting results. Responsible for mechanical design, CAD model development with CAD software’s and engineering drawing development for Heavy engineering components (Wind turbine components) and CNC machines Performing engineering calculations and basic FEA simulation for the designed component. Conducting Concept design review (CDR) and Detail design review (DDR) evaluation with Principal Engineers. Conducting Master model review to discuss on another interface component. Creation of technical document for supplier specific documents for procurement of standard parts. Performing DFMEA and ensuring the threshold to be aligned with the Quality team. Creation of final 3D model and checking with interface component for the interference stack up and weldment issue. Design review, Engineering calculation, run independent engineering and cost analysis. Responsible for the Supplier deviation report and justifying the proper solution in case any SDR raised. Conducting cost out idea for the next cut drawing release. Conducting the review meeting with the service team to address the service concern during installation. Identifying areas for improvements and adopting new design methodology in case of cost and service beneficial.
