Reporting to the SCM Master Data Supervisor, the SCM Advisor role is responsible for managing supplier banking information, ensuring data integrity, and mitigating risks associated with sensitive financial data. This role involves collaboration across Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, prioritizing high-volume workloads, and maintaining excellent supplier relationships. This includes:Project: Supplier Banking Validation and Data Management• Verified and modified supplier banking information with discretion and confidentiality.• Conducted supplier outreach, including cold calling, to validate and update banking details while building trust and rapport.• Integrated supplier banking data into ERP systems, including Oracle Cloud, Oracle R12, and SAP, ensuring alignment with AP processes.• Streamlined processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency in banking data managementProject: AP and SCM Collaboration• Coordinated with AP and SCM teams to ensure seamless integration of data management practices.• Resolved discrepancies and provided training on banking codes and standards, with a focus on North American data• Supported fraud prevention efforts by implementing robust data validation protocolsProject: Workload Management and Reporting• Managed and prioritized a significant backlog of requests, addressing urgent tasks with efficiency and accuracy.• Developed and delivered reports on key metrics, providing leadership with insights into process improvements and workload trend.• Recommended process and system enhancements to optimize operational efficiency.
