ABOUT ARTYOM KORKHOV

Engineering lead with vast experience in data-intensive applications. Hands-on engineer with strong product vision and leadership. Spent most of my career thinking, designing and building ML Infrastructure. I stand on strong engineering and product foundations, and have built global scale systems and teams, both from scratch.I\'m a co-author of a few core ML infrastructure pieces at Spotify, most notably Salem, internal infrastructure as a service platform that serves both the most load-intensive Spotify products as well as tiny experimental systems. Together with my colleagues we\'ve started the team from scratch. Besides ML Model serving I\'ve been working on Feature Stores, including real-time use-cases, Metadata layer and, at times, on ML pipelines. In almost all these cases I\'ve taken a big role in designing the systems.I prefer working in small teams on hard product and tech problems, primarily having other engineers or technical practitioners as core users.
