   As corporate counsel at Pharmavite, I remain up to date on relevant industry advertising, intellectual property, and privacy laws, and regulations to ensure an ongoing ability to provide internal business clients with sound compliance advice during cross-functional meetings. I also provide legal counsel on claim substantiation relating to environmental, nutrient content, comparative, structure/function, “Made in the USA,” organic, plant-based, natural, and other types of claims that are subject to regulatory requirements. Further, I advise business partners on dietary supplement-specific marketing issues, including sweepstakes/contests, sponsorships, coupon offers, FTC influencer disclosures, and intellectual property clearance for marketing campaigns. I also provide support on day-to-day activities of the brand marketing, nutrition science, regulatory affairs, and sales teams, and formulate and implement brand monitoring strategy for social media, the internet, and other digital platforms.
