ABOUT ARTURO GARCIA
As a veteran with 20 years of service in the United States Air Force, I have a wealth of experience in logistics and quality assurance, managing administrative processes, and supporting service members. I have honed my skills in quality assurance analysis, communication, and leadership, and I hold a Secret Security Clearance that allows me to handle sensitive information and situations.Currently, I am an Outreach Coordinator at The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at VVSD, where I apply my military background and passion for social work to help veterans and their families cope with mental health issues. I am also pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at UMass Global, where I am learning the latest theories and practices in the field of clinical social work. My goal is to become a licensed clinical social worker and serve the veteran community with compassion and professionalism.
