About Arturo Serize

I sit between the clinical floor and the engineering team: identify what\'s broken, design the solution, and build working prototypes to prove it works.My path has been anything but linear. Political science degree, then medicine hit hard. Fifteen years across infectious disease, neonatal critical care, and clinical research. Always hunting for what\'s broken and how to fix it. That instinct led me to build a clinical research program from scratch at a community hospital that published in the New England Journal of Medicine, running NIH-funded trials alongside Harvard and UW.Now I\'m building in clinical informatics and digital health. The gap between what clinicians need and what technology delivers is still massive. The people best positioned to close it are those who\'ve been at the bedside. I bring clinical depth, research rigor, and a stubborn habit of building solutions when existing tools fall short. Trilingual: English, Spanish, and Portuguese.Fun fact: I passed the U.S. Foreign Service Written Exam on my first try. Study weapon of choice? A subscription to The Economist.
