ABOUT ARTUR SADOWSKI
I am currently an instructor at the New York City Police Department (NYPD) Firearms & Tactics Section (FTS). FTS is tasked with conducting firearms, pepper spray, taser, and scenario based training for NYPD recruit and in-service personnel. I am Training Coordinator and deal with Curriculum Development at all levels, Instructor development, and special projects such as report writing and courtroom testimony. I specialize in creating lesson plans, training schedules, and conducting training in police use of force related areas, most specifically firearms, tasers and pepper spray.I will retire in the coming weeks and am considering positions in the following areas-Police/Military/Security trainer, training program assessor, or curriculum developer (I specialize in police use of force, firearms, tasers, pepper spray, and scenario/reality based training)- Consulting and/or testifying as a subject matter expert in civil, administrative and criminal cases.
