About Arti Kamath
I\'m a Biomedical Engineer passionate about medical devices. I aim to create a meaningful impact on the medical device industry through hands-on experience with all aspects of the medical device lifecycle with a focus on Medical Device Design and Quality. I have worked as a Product development engineering co-op with a medical device startup, and I am keen on exploring the design process further. I have worked with Laparoscopic surgical equipment and the best part of my career there has been working in the OR with surgeons and conducting 3D Laparoscopic surgical camera demonstrations. Traveling extensively across India working with surgeons and hospitals in diverse situations has helped shape my perspective on learning more about healthcare and the importance of technology in improving lives. Working at Shifamed now, with the most driven Quality and manufacturing engineers feels like another piece of the Medtech puzzle has fallen in place. From working with Risk assessment, validations, FDA regulations and testing to figuring out more about the quality industry- each day brings newer lessons to learn!I also love learning new languages, love to read, and I\'m passionate about keeping abreast of the latest in medical technology.
