I help that person receive the medical treatment they need to recover from their injuries, payment for that medical treatment, and cash compensation for the pain and suffering caused by their injuries, also known as damages. An example of a criminal defense case is someone who had an encounter with the police. These encounters can have a range of severity and penalties.
