ABOUT ARTHUR JAKOBSSON
I am currently a Masters of Science in Robotics (MSR) at Carnegie Mellon University. I am part of the Momentum Lab (w/ Jeff Ichnowski) and the Search Based Pathfinding Lab (w/ Maxim Likhachev). Previously, I worked with the Biorobotics labs (w/ Howie Choset) at CMU. I have three publicatications, one on ML based pathfinding (accepted to ICAPS), one accepted at ICRA 2025 which is a continuation of work related to the prior paper with a focus on building and using foundation models for multi agent pathfinding, and one on detecting deepfakes using an innovative system which I wrote with the NYU Cyber Security Lab (w/ Nasir Memon) which I collaborated with for three years.I did my undergraduate degree at Carnegie Mellon as well in Statistics and Machine learning and CS. Last summer, I co-instructed 15122, an intro CS course at CMU, with Mihir Khare. Previously, I TAed for 15122. I have helped develop course content and built an bootcamp system which has helped over students over the last several years. I am a co-inventor of two patents owned by Agari Data, Inc, a prominent email security company. I did an internship during the summer at Amber Solutions, during which I developed a proof-of-concept for for a web-based application to associate user MAC addresses with user contact information and web-browsing cookies.
