ABOUT ARTHUR EVENSEN

I am a dedicated podiatric surgeon and wound-care specialist practicing at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton, Missouri, serving a largely rural population with a strong commitment to access, prevention, and limb preservation. I am dual board-certified—as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (DABPM) and a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) through the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM)—and I am proud to be a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine (FACPM). I also serve as an active member of the American Limb Preservation Society (ALPS), focusing on multidisciplinary collaboration to reduce amputations and improve long-term outcomes.My clinical practice includes comprehensive medical and surgical management of foot and ankle pathology, with specialized expertise in complex wounds, diabetic limb salvage, and innovative biologic and regenerative therapies. My patient-centered approach ensures that each individual receives treatment tailored to their goals, mobility, and overall quality of life.I am deeply involved in ongoing research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications exploring limb preservation, biologics, advanced wound dressings, infection management, and the use of adjuvant radiation therapy in foot and ankle care. I actively collaborate with colleagues across disciplines while developing new clinical models and strategies for improving outcomes in rural healthcare environments.Outside the clinic, I am committed to community engagement, mentorship, and strengthening local healthcare resources. Whether through outreach, education, or collaborative projects, I strive to elevate the standard of care for patients in underserved communities and ensure no one falls through the cracks.
