About Arthur Drewry
I started working in the moving business, at the tender age of 21, thinking that it would be a straight forward industry to learn, and boy was I in for a surprise! I quickly realised that the world of moving/relocation was a huge, complex industry. It fascinated me then, as much as it does now and I have been working in the same industry ever since.I have lived in the Middle East - Qatar, Europe - U.K and currently reside in North America. Everywhere I have lived, I have worked in the moving industry.Moving is one of the most stressful things that people go through in their life. It is often classified in the top 3, just after death of a loved one and divorce. I believe that my international background gives me a unique insight into the in\'s and out\'s of moving and the pressures that it puts on the transferee and their family unit. I am passionate about this industry and I like to get involved whenever possible. I sit on the board for the International Association of Movers - the largest moving association in the world. I am also the past president of FIDI Canada. My goal is to continue to learn and gain hands-on experience in this exciting, ever changing, evolving industry of ours. Thanks for reading!
