Responsible for the entire execution of credit related products (Term Loans, Bridge Loans, Real Estate Loans, Revolvers, Equipment Financing, Derivatives). Manages the diligence/approval process and negotiate all legal documents and closing. •Directly responsible for managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of borrowers and all portfolio management activities, including direct and on-going communication with the clients located in South Texas, and presentation to senior executives across PNC’s national footprint. Portfolio clients include investment grade (“IG”) and high-yield/secured borrowers across the Chemicals Production, Global Distribution, Industrial Manufacturing, Private Equity/Family Offices, Heavy Equipment Dealers, Waste Management, Legal, and Services/Hospitality industries.•Leads internal white boarding and diligence sessions to assess viable solutions for working capital financing, international trade products, mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, tax restructurings, business expansion, asset-based lending, and other structured finance products. Drives the internal credit approval process, loan documentation and closing.•Collaborates with Relationship Managers across PNC’s South Texas Footprint, and other product partners (i.e. treasury management, foreign exchange trading, syndications, interest rate hedging) to assess credit needs, generate ideas and deliver integrated solutions. Able to assess industry dynamics to advise on the best solutions. •Responsible for the indirect management of a team of employees to handle all aspects of the credit process. Plays a key role in training, mentoring and developing junior talent.
