ABOUT ARTHUR TREY PERRY

I am a dynamic and driven professional with a diverse background in international and domestic law, business and economic development, and international relations. I completed my Juris Doctor and a Degree in Comparative Law (study of the differences and similarities between legal systems worldwide) at Louisiana State University (LSU) Law School. My legal education is complemented by a summer legal studies exchange program at Universität Augsburg, where I specialized study points in WTO (World Trade Organization) law, EU law, European and German company law, and CISG law (United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods).My academic journey began at the University of South Carolina, where I earned a BA in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a minor in psychology. This solid foundation has equipped me with a thorough understanding of the legal and psychological aspects of the justice system.My professional experience includes employment as a Business Development Associate at the South Carolina Department of Commerce: Europe Office in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. In this role, I was dedicated to fostering economic growth and establishing strategic partnerships between South Carolina and European markets. I also served as a Technical Compliance and Risk Management Intern with BMW Group in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, where I gained valuable insights into corporate compliance and risk management. Prior to that, I served as an Analytics and Administrative Assistant for nearly three years at the South Carolina Department of Revenue, honing my skills in data analysis and administrative support. Additionally, I worked as a Senior Executive Clerk at Slotchiver and Slotchiver LLP in Charleston, South Carolina, where I developed a strong understanding of legal procedures and client management.My multifaceted experience in law, business development, and international relations, coupled with my passion for fostering cross-cultural understanding, positions me to effectively navigate the complex landscape of global commerce and legal practice.
