ABOUT ARTHUR JIPSON
Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work and Affiliate in the Department of Criminal Justice and Security Studies at the University of Dayton. Director of Criminal Justice Studies Program from July 2005 - June 2016. At the University of Dayton I have taught principles of sociology, collective behavior, extremism, popular culture, Internet community, criminology, criminological theory, and criminal justice courses (corrections, introduction to criminal justice, terrorism and security, comparative criminal justice and white collar crime and fraud). In my previous position as CJS Director I was also involved in grant writing, student recruitment, retention and office management. While director, I oversaw curriculum development across the criminal justice studies program.
