I am a Biotechnology student at UC Davis with a strong interest in genetics, bioinformatics, and aging research. My passion lies in exploring how biotechnology can drive innovation in health, genetics, and data-driven biological solutions.Currently, I am a Research Intern at Britt Lab, where I have gained hands-on experience in DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and molecular biology techniques while shadowing Dr. Mily Ron. Through this work, I have strengthened my technical lab skills and my ability to analyze genetic data.Beyond the lab, I serve as a Resident Assistant (RA) at UC Davis, where I develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills by fostering a supportive and inclusive residential community. Balancing these responsibilities has honed my time management, conflict resolution, and teamwork abilities—all essential for success in research and industry settings.I am also an IB Bilingual Diploma graduate, fluent in English and Portuguese, which allows me to engage in diverse academic and professional environments.I’m always excited to connect with professionals in biotechnology, bioinformatics, and genetic research to learn, collaborate, and explore new opportunities.
