ABOUT ARTHUR DE HAAST

Arthur de Haast is a Senior Director of JLL Inc, the NYSE quoted financial and professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate services and investment management. He is currently Chair, Global Capital Markets Advisory Council, which advises the Global Capital Markets Board on medium to long term strategic aspects of the business, and undertakes specific projects relating to the long term growth of JLL\'s world leading capital markets business. He most recently spent two years based in Tokyo where he also supported the growth of JLL Japan\'s capital markets business. Previously Arthur had been the Chair of JLL\'s Global Capital Markets Board. The Board developed and implemented strategy for JLL\'s capital markets business worldwide. The capital markets business provides a wide range of services to JLL\'s investor clients including investment sales and acquisitions, all form s of debt financing and corporate finance advice. Prior to that Arthur was Chair and Global CEO of JLL\'s Hotels and Hospitality Group, where he was responsible for a team of some 300 professionals in 43 offices in 20 countries, who provided both advisory and transactional services to this specialist asset class. Arthur has also been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC with effect from 1st January 2020. He remains an Independent Non-Executive Director of Chalet Hotels Ltd, an owner, developer and asset manager of high-end hotels in India, a company quoted on the Bombay Stock Exchange. In addition Arthur is a member of the Advisory Board of the Scottish Business School, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and past Chair of the Institute of Hospitality.
