About Arthur Bruso

Arthur Bruso is a gay artist, curator, and arts writer. He received his MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently co-Director of Curious Matter, a non-profit project space. His visual work has been exhibited widely. It can be viewed on his website. He is the author of 6 photographic monographs, a memoir \"So Far Away No One Will Notice,\" a book of essays \"A Slant of Shadow,\" and numerous essays on art.    Co-founder and curator. Since opening in 2007, Curious Matter\'s exhibition space has presented over a hundred local, national and international artists in group and solo shows. The galleries\' calendar of events brings in hundreds of visitors along with media attention in print, on the web and on network television. Curious Matter also has a committed publishing program, with exhibition catalogues and a variety of artist books.
