Planned, organized, and facilitated engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of two age groups: preschool children (ages 4–5) and youth (ages 6–12)- Built strong connections with campers by fostering trust and creating a supportive, inclusive environment; quickly bonded with each individual camper, ensuring they felt valued and engaged- Developed close relationships with the staff team, transforming collaboration into a strong sense of family and teamwork- Worked across multiple community centres in Scarborough—including McGregor, Centennial, Oakridge, Cedar Drive Public School, Curran Hall, Malvern, and West Rouge—gaining experience in diverse settings and learning how to effectively communicate and build meaningful connections within the community- Ensured the safety and well-being of campers during daily activities, field trips, swim days, bus transitions, and throughout camp hours- Communicated effectively with parents, guardians, and staff by providing updates on camper progress, addressing concerns, and relaying important information- Assisted in planning and executing special events, contributing ideas for new programs, and completing administrative tasks such as attendance, materials preparation, and paperwork to support overall camp operations- Maintained a clean, organized, and safe camp environment before, during, and after programming.
