Manage the logistics, safe storage, preservation, care custody and control of all project materials for specific site locations. Accountable for the safe operating practices and supervision of material coordinators/advisors. • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to address and reduce the impact of material shortages and surplus costs • Overall accountability to execute against one way warehouse strategy and standards • Establish forecasts and monthly labour requirements, ensuring they are in accordance with operating budgets • Provide guidance to the team in the management and maintenance of facilities and related handling and storage equipment • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulatory safety, labour and worker’s compensation standards • Monitor compliance and adherence to health and safety regulations with regards to correct use of personal protection equipment • Review project material status reports, and monitor delivery requirements providing insight to the project supply chain management manager and project team regarding adjustments as required • Provide material readiness support insight to project management and construction management inventory control function based on demand trends, supplier contractor performance, lead-times, warranty claims and damage returns
