Consultant in the Career and College Transition Division\'s Community School Office. Performs consultative, developmental, and administrative tasks that support the implementation and administration of the programs and projects with which the CSO is charged. These programs include the 4-billion-dollar California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) and the Learning Communities for School Success Program (LCSSP). Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Provide leadership and guidance to the CCSPP grantees and technical assistance centers (TACs). Provide technical expertise and resources to facilitate program growth, improvement, and compliance with legislation. Work with the regional TACs to provide technical assistance, strengthen and improve programs, ensure they are facilitating partnership and collaborative development within their region, align the work of implementing the CCSPP with other school transformation initiatives, and ensure compliance with applicable mandates and regulations.As a CCSPP Regional Representative:• Read and review grant applications, making recommendations for funding.• Analyze CCSPPs for areas of strengths, needs for growth, and continuous improvement.• Review and analyze reports and expenditures for compliance with the CCSPP program.• Make recommendations for future funding eligibility.• Write, review, and monitor program-related contracts.• Write and review program-related State Board of Education Items.• Write and review program-related Legislative Reports.Assist in the reviewing and scoring of LCSSP grants.
