About Art Rodriguez

I’m a creative and resourceful IT and Operations professional. Called “unflappable” by supervisors and colleagues alike, I find approaching challenges exciting, not stressful. My approach to human relationships is the same, find common ground in order to work together and to create something great. I tap into the work, the goal and the mission to lead projects and teams to accomplish organizational goals. For me, operations and IT are similar, they are about systems, merging disparate areas into processes that work for the entire organization. This isn’t always easy, both operations and IT are invisible to organizations, until they don’t work effortlessly. When they don’t, that’s when communication is key and the ability to pivot is essential. I’m able to do both, to deliver the best possible organization wide product.At The Unity Council, in addition to a decade of project management, I led the organization wide migration to the cloud, and all of our work from home efforts during the height of the pandemic. I’ve written IT policies and procedures, brought heightened security measures, implemented IT insurance coverage and continue to solve daily IT and operational challenges of the organization.
