About Art Cameron

Art Cameron is the Executive Vice President of Global Government Relations for RTX. He leads a global team working with governments at the international, federal, state, and local levels. In this role, he communicates and advocates the company’s business interests to policymakers and other key stakeholders in the U.S. and across the world. Cameron is a long-time government relations, aerospace, and defense leader, previously having led the federal affairs government relations function at RTX. In this role, he directly contributed to the programmatic and financial support of the company’s priorities. He also managed the RTX Political Action Committee on behalf of the company. Prior to working at RTX, Art served as the Vice President of Federal Government Operations for The Boeing Company in Washington, D.C. In this role, he was responsible for implementing all Boeing strategic and tactical interactions with the United States Congress and the Executive Branch. Art worked on Capitol Hill for 17 years. Roles included Staff Director for the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, as well as working on the Senate floor for three different Majority Leaders. Here, he advised Senators on legislative procedure during floor consideration of bills. Early in his career, Art worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Appropriations and Management. In this role, Art ran all budget interactions with OMB and the Legislative Branch on behalf of the Secretary of the Treasury. Art Cameron is a graduate of American University, with both a BA in Justice, and a JD from the Washington College of Law.
