The last 20 years of Engineering work specially in product design and development taught me a lot, not just technical things but a lot of important facts in work environment like people, resources, project schedule, feasibility studies, risk analysis, Time to market and.Learned how to do the research, since none of the daily engineering problems has a solution in university books, even simple design tasks needs to be verified and confirmed in many aspects, like durability, temperature stability, disturbance robustness, noise immunity, safety and so on. I have learned to start a design with a customer requirement document which will be written by the actual customer or a field application engineer. Then from this document we will drive other necessary documents like Design Requirements and so on.
