In my past 3 years as a management consulting professional at Bain & Company, I’ve worked in 30+ engagements across multiple industries including Aviation, Energy, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Retail and Banking. My nature of work can’t be singled out, I’ve worked in multiple functional areas like M&A, Financial analysis, Competitor Benchmarking, Cost reduction, G&A optimization, Shared Service strategy and Market scans. I have a solid background in Finance having cleared Level 1 of CFA, with a Bachelors in Management Studies (specialising in Finance) along with internships with a VC and a Mutual Fund.A robust background in Finance with a 3-year track record of a “General practitioner in Corporate Strategy” (for the lack of a better job title). Across my diverse nature of work, there are 2 skill-sets which I\'ve nurtured the most and had to constantly rely on:1. Crafting systematic approaches for highly vague and unstructured problem statements2. Making sense of large chunks of data and juice out actionable insightsEvery other skill is just a derivative of these. I thrive under unstructured environments and always look-forward to opportunities where there is room for building things from scratch. I simply love the act of “creation” - whether it’s an investment thesis, a complex excel model or something as simple as a powerpoint slide.
