Recruits, trains and supports 57 Posse Scholars, at colleges in Minnesota, Iowa, and Indiana, beginning in their Senior Year of High School and continuing to their graduation from college. • Assists with outreach to high schools and community - based organizations, in 10 states during recruitment. Also interviewing candidates and guiding them through the college application process.• Facilitates 2 hour weekly workshops for Posse Scholars that focuses on leadership, cross - cultural communication, team building, and academic excellence during Pre - Collegiate Training. • Travels to Macalester College, Purdue University, and Cornell College three times a year to meet with Posse Scholars individually to track Scholar\'s academic progress and assess retention concerns as necessary. • Collaborates and guides Posse Mentors (tenured college faculty/staff members) to ensure Posse Scholars are supported and connected to resources throughout their collegiate journey to succeed
