About Arpan Sarkar

I’m a full-stack developer who enjoys building things that actually solve problems, not just projects for the sake of it. Most of my work sits at the intersection of web development and AI. I’ve built platforms like an AI-powered study planner that turns raw syllabi into structured learning paths, and a real-time developer networking app with live messaging using WebSockets. I’m particularly interested in how Generative AI can simplify complex concepts and improve learning experiences. On the technical side, I work primarily with the MERN stack, TypeScript, Next Js, Postgresql, and I’m comfortable designing full systems from frontend UI to backend architecture, authentication, and deployment. I care a lot about performance, clean code, and building products that people can actually use. Beyond coding, I’ve also led workshops and worked as a Campus Ambassador, where I helped bring technical communities together and drove engagement across 200+ students. That experience helped me improve my communication and leadership skills I think matter just as much as technical ability. Right now, I’m focused on: Building scalable full-stack applications Exploring practical use-cases of Generative AI Improving system design and backend architecture I’m always open to collaborating on interesting projects or discussing ideas around tech, startups, or AI.
