Managing remote SQL Server clustered environment, Installations, Upgrades and Patching for SQL Server 2008/ 2008R2 /2005 Disaster recovery strategy implementation (Clusters) for high availability & performs DR tests onroutine/business schedules. Configured and implemented Profiler trace for an audit purpose, to know backend changes done by various users. Working various Batch processes, SSIS, DTS, BCP, Import, Export, Backup, Database Monitoring tools and Application support. Analysis of daily database report for critical production servers. Implementation of security / SQL Server Hardening. Establish procedure to migrate databases, logins, and jobs to new environment servers. Database infrastructure capacity planning and review. Estimation and implementation of activities for Performance Tuning. Daily Maintenance of SQL Servers included reviewing SQL error logs, Event Viewer. Implement Log Shipping, Always ON, SQL Mirroring and SQL Server Failover Clustering to configure disaster recovery and High Availability production server. Maintaining same standards through all the SQL server environments by auditing and taking appropriate actions. Working on Incident generation tool i.e. Tickets & SQL Alerts, Job failure reasons.
