ABOUT ARON LEVITZ

I am a builder and a leader in the mobile world. These two simple items are what get me out of bed every morning. Building allows me to flex my creative muscles, stretch my strategic prowess and execute on the broad strokes and intricate minutiae of plans. I have created strong communities, strong monetization paths and even stronger businesses. Leadership allows me encourage, motivate, direct and ultimately execute the visions and strategies that the builder in me loves to design. Problem Solver – Broad business development, product management and operations experience have equipped me with creative and analytical problem solving skills, a deep understanding of a variety of business environments and technical knowledge including within media, entertainment, advertising, ecommerce, SaaS/Enterprise, B2B and social networks.Leadership - managing direct teams of 20 to cross-functional teams of 100+, I have prided myself or leading amazing people to take vision to success. Strategy – I have been responsible for everything from UX strategy and technical architecture for e-com solutions, determining how to optimize sales strategies to grow revenue by 90% at Xtreme Labs or starting an native advertising business from scratch at Wattpad, I have always had a strong ability to perceive complicated, business changing decisions into successful, executable strategies. Execution and Operation – From developing business models to being responsible for $25M P & Ls and their day-to-day success, I have always held executing on a strategy, and getting my hands dirty in the day-to-day the most important mile of the business journey. Entrepreneurship – I thrive in start-up environments. Whether at early stage companies like LiveHive, Wattpad or Angstrom Power or creating new business units within larger companies like RIM or Kobo, I am always looking at how I can make a company a first-mover or disruptor in a category.
