Responsible for modernizing and optimizing the compliance operations, managing and engaging with important third parties, such as banks and regulatory agencies and the management, development, efficiency and effectiveness of a global team of 50+ people in 4 different regions (North America, UK, EU, and APAC). In addition to the following: • Provide strategic advice to business partners across the Corpay Cross-Border Payments Division • Responsible for working with various stakeholders to identify optimization initiatives and leading and managing compliance-led initiatives • Work alongside internal and external stakeholders, including C-Suite Executives, to identify and manage Corpay compliance risk while supporting revenue growing initiatives • Responsible for ensuring ongoing effectiveness of various financial crimes compliance systems • Key stakeholder to manage key relationships with bank and non-bank financial institutions globally • Liaise with the different statutory and regulatory authorities • Maintain corporate governance framework through ongoing reporting and communication with various Boards and Senior Executives • Monitor, implement, and manage new rules and regulations applicable to Corpay • Continually assess the inherent risk of the business as well as the effectiveness of mitigating controls to minimize the residual risk of reputational damage, regulatory consequences, and other operational risk • Oversee regular training to staff and specialized training, as needed, to address ad hoc regulatory issues.
