ABOUT ARNOLD SAMSON-MWANJALI

A Lead Software engineer @ MVF & graduate in Electronic Engineering (1st Class) with proficiency in React, JavaScript, Jest, Puppeteer, Elm, CHEF, Ruby on Rails, Capistrano, HAProxy, Postgres, Vagrant, Cucumber, Bash, Linux and team leadership.As an Intel Engineer, I got involved in a range of customer facing / software & team leadership tasks. I developed strong communication & customer skills through employment at MAPLIN London and as a Student ambassador & an internship in a German electronic repair centre.How I fell in LOVE with SOFTWARE programming:My first and everlastingly positive experience with programming was my participation in the German ROBO CUP (2008) in which I was part of a school team working with a self-made robot car, which had to be enabled (through coding using LEGO MINDSTORMS) to solve a 3x3m maze. The enthusiasm and satisfaction I felt after successfully compiling and emulating the algorithm that made the robot complete its task with flawless operation was unforgettable & inspired me permanently towards programming.RELEVANT EXPERIENCE (gained at Intel)- I identified flaws to an Intel business process & developed a JAVA based analysis tool implementing an efficiency increase of 99% for Intel’s CPU failure rate analysis process for Dell reducing the throughput time from 6 hours to 3 minutes- I demonstrated strong XML & Java skills by maintaining & upgrading an ANDROID Smartphone Application for ORANGE to pull system info- The achievement I am most proud of & grateful for is my Placement Extension offer for ANDROID Smartphone coding from my manager to develop an Intel ANDROID Smartphone app for internal usage & performance data analysis, demonstrating his faith in my programming skills.Having spent 17 years of my life in Germany I would be happy to relocate within an English or German speaking environment (UK /Germany / US).
