ABOUT NIHAR MHATRE

I\'m an urban planner with a passion for creating stronger, more sustainable communities. After completing my Master\'s degree at Rutgers University, I joined Houseal Lavigne as a Planner 1, where I’ve been able to dive into a variety of planning projects, working with local governments to develop actionable plans and strategies that make a real impact.I specialize in using data and GIS to help cities understand the best ways to grow and evolve while keeping the needs of the community in mind. I\'ve contributed to more than 10 comprehensive plans, helping communities assess their current conditions and future needs. My includes everything from analyzing demographic trends and land use patterns to researching best practices in urban development and crafting policy recommendations.I focus on finding solutions that help address current challenges and support the future growth of communities. I enjoy working with different teams, connecting with local residents, and making sure their feedback is considered in the planning process.
