About Arnab Bhattacharya

I was introduced to Computer Architecture by my Professor Dr. Biju K Raveendran during the Computer Architecture class in my undergraduate studies. Computer Architecture fascinated me and turned into a passion during the project we did as part of the course designing a VLIW microprocessor making architectural and design choices and making trade-offs decisions in order to implement a good processor design.Following my passion, I came to USA for a Masters in Sciences from Stony Brook University in the field of Computer Engineering with a focus in Computer Architecture and Digital Hardware design. I completed my masters in December 2020. While studying there, I worked on multiple projects working on design and implementation of high speed multi-core microprocessors, FPGA accelerators purposed for executing Neural Networks and various other ASIC hardware.Presently, I work at ARM with the MRS team where I am assisting CPU teams in adoption of novel technologies and methodologies into their pipelines. My time at Arm has been a huge learning experience especially since this was the first time I got an in-depth experience working with verification of hardware designs at an organizational scale.I continue to learn from my numerous life experiences and grow as a person. Hopefully, this makes me a valuable contributor to the advancement of technology and humanity.
