About Olsen

I grew up in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of south Seattle on a farm that has been in my family for over one hundred years. As a child, I started a pumpkin harvest business there, which I still host on the first Saturday of October at Seattle Farm. I attended Seattle Academy for high school where I played lacrosse and learned a diverse set of skills, including making tables and other furniture from wood milled at our farm. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts focusing in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a Bachelors of Science in Real Estate. I also obtained a sales certificate. While in high school, I interned at the Neiders Company and managed to save the company a year by renegotiating contracts with several suppliers (see letter of recommendation from Karl Neiders). Throughout my life thus far, I\'ve been able to use my diverse set of experiences: growing up in Rainier Beach, speaking Spanish as my first language, traveling to 34 countries, and independently reading over 100 books on business to solve problems at every organization where I have been involved. I look forward to continuing to take my skill sets to my work place to make the highest impact I can.
