As part of a fantastic team of engineers, I am responsible for leading the analysis, design, and implementation into construction documents of all physical security enhancements, including blast effects mitigating measures, forced entry, ballistic, vehicle ramming, using innovative and cost-effective solutions, and considering operational measures and risk evaluation of threats.Services provided include risk and vulnerability assessment of new developments and existing facilities, providing a preliminary evaluation of construction materials and landscaping measures to be considered for planning purposes to mitigate the effects of man-made threats (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design), assessment, and design of buildings to protect personnel and operations under multi-threat profiles, and detiled design of building componenets to support vendors of glazed/non-glazed facades, bollards and vehicle barriers, precast construction.etc.Facilities and sectors include military, federal, and local government facilities; aerospace and technological critical facilities; non-governmental organizations; energy and petrochemical industrial facilities; and iconic buildings and headquarters of Fortune 500 organizations.
