ABOUT ARMAND NAREG Y.

Armand Nareg Yerjanian is a Senior Investment Manager at A.P. Moller Maersk, leading investment strategy and analysis for the North America Contract Logistics division. He oversees 85 warehousing facilities spanning 22.5 million square feet, with investments in consolidation, dry and cold storage, distribution, energy transition, and cross-border fulfillment. His customer-driven investments include partnerships with leading companies such as Amazon, Nike, Macy’s, Honda, and Levi’s.Armand is the co-founder of Kartes Analytica, a geospatial data platform launched in late 2022 that offers intuitive APIs, AI-powered data processing, and a secure cloud environment. Kartes Analytica is the first private company with a Space Activities License from the Republic of Armenia, founded by experts from NASA, AWS, Stanford, and Lockheed Martin. In addition, Armand co-founded Illuria Security, a cybersecurity platform that has raised $1 million in funding and focuses on securing the most mission-critical systems. His career began at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where he contributed to the success of the JUNO mission through strategic financial planning and resource management for the Science Division. Fun fact: JUNO is still orbiting Jupiter today. Armand’s investment career also includes roles at Atria Wealth Solutions, where he managed over $1 billion in administration and improved advisory services’ margins, and TCW Group, where he worked in derivative trades and help execute trading agreements with major financial institutions.Deeply committed to Armenia’s development, Armand frequently visits the country to support FC Vayk, a football club he co-founded, which aims to develop youth talent and elevate Armenian football to European and global levels. Armand is an Eagle Scout and serves as Scoutmaster and Treasurer for AGBU Pasadena Glendale Scouts. Currently, he serves as the Director of Operations for Friends of Teach for Armenia, where he plays a pivotal role in assisting with the launch of Teach for Armenia’s first endowment fund, designed to support public school students annually in Armenia.Armand is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Government with a focus on National Security from Johns Hopkins University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
